iCRco, Inc. has been awarded multi-year contract under the Veteran’s Administration (VA)/Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) High Tech Medical Equipment program. This contract provides for the normal supply of computed radiography (CR) equipment, upgrades and accessories, including installation, to the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense, and other Federal Agencies, upon their request for delivery within the 50 United States, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and Federal Activities functioning in non-US (OCONUS) locations, and sales to foreign governments under the FMS (Foreign Military Sales)Program. iCRco Signs Distribution Agreement With GE Healthcare

iCRco, a manufacturer of innovative digital x-ray solutions, has signed a distribution agreement with GE Healthcare, a unit of General Electric Company, for its computed radiography (CR) systems.

Under this distribution contract, GE Healthcare will provide access to the iCRco products through the GE distribution network to selected countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

iCRco Conducts Yearly Distributor Training Programs in Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific Regions

iCRco started conducting a series of trainings for distributors attending from all over Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific. The first two trainings took place in iCRco’s European offices in Munich with over 25 distributors attending from Europe and the Middle East. The 4th Annual Asia Pacific training will be held in Kuala Lumpur, with expected attendance of 13 different countries with many of them being new distributors to iCRco.

iCRco decided to conduct these trainings due to rapid expansion of the company’s presence in Europe and Middle Eastern regions. The competitiveness of iCRco combined with new product offerings at the 2009 RSNA has attracted much interest, and led to many new distributor relationships. With the opening of the European office in Munich, and having a service and support team directly from this office has made these trainings happen efficiently and quickly.

iCRco donated a computed radiography system to a remote clinic in Honduras

iCRco donated a turnkey computed radiography system to be used in a remote clinic in rural Honduras. Thousands of Hondurans will now have access to proper medical diagnoses and treatments due to the joint efforts by iCRco, Shoulder to Shoulder organization, and many other vendors that made this project a reality. The CR system donated by iCRco was a critical part to the success of the clinic.

Inauguration of the clinic took place February 20th, 2010 with participation of community leaders, international volunteers, and guests in Concepcion, Intibuca, Honduras.

" From there, Dr. Juan Vasquez, who had been trained in less than 24 hours on the technology, took a digital X-ray of a patient on MinXray’s portable system. He transferred it to iCRco’s computed radiography (CR) unit, uploaded it to MedWeb’s VirtualPACS (picture archiving and communication system), and sent it to radiologist Dr. Phillip Silberberg, located in Bloomington, Ind., in just under five minutes. Dr. Silberberg, a pediatric radiologist, medical director of radiology and telemedicine for Shoulder to Shoulder, and a member of the Imaging Technology News Editorial Advisory Board, then interpreted the case live via video teleconference. The Minister of Health, a trained physician, sat down at the CR system to test its viewing capabilities for himself, panning and zooming in on the image."

iCRco is Highlighted in Imaging Economics

Torrance, Calif-based iCRco is enjoying life on the open water as of late. The company’s iCR3600 computed radiography system has been steadily earning its sea legs, with recent installs on board a pair of popular cruise lines, as well as a Coast Guard ship.
altThe company last month announced that its CR system was on board the World ResidenSea and a Port Canaveral family-oriented cruise line, with maximum capacities of 1,046 and 3,325, respectively.

“It was a great pleasure to learn iCRco was selected as the preferred vendor for these exceptional, family-oriented cruise lines,” said Mark Valentine, president and COO of iCRco. “We are proud to have recently installed the iCR3600 on the Coast Guard’s Healey, and we are starting to make waves in maritime health care. iCRco Releases a Number of New Products at RSNA 2009

iCRco introduced a line of new software and hardware products at this year’s RSNA. In the arena of new hardware, the new products range from the iDR Long Bone,  the worlds only scanning DR machine that can expose a continuous 51 inch image for full spine x-rays. The second product and most popular at the show  is the new Vmotion which instantly converts your existing Analog GE AMX 4 and 4+ to digital. The next of the new product offerings is a 24 volt DC battery unit called iSupply. This unit when used to power a CR provides upto 270 scans before recharging, and is just what the mobile and field use communities have been asking for. Also shown at the RSNA were brand new portable carts for the VertX and the iCR3600 CR lines. These are intended for mobile hospital use and where space is a premium  respectively. As for new innovations in software, iCRco introduced Captera the new touch screen capable image acquisition and management software as well as Clarity PACS version 2.0 . These products displayed the enterprise level capabilities of both Captera the acquisition station and Clarity PACS software offered by iCRco.

2009 AsiaPacific Training

June 2009 - iCRco completed its annual Asia/Pacific distributor training program in Suzhou, China, with over 60 representatives in attendance.

This year's training was held at the headquarters of iCRco's Chinese distributor Huqiu Imaging Technologies. This was the first year that the event was held in mainland China, and saw attendees from over 12 different countries and every major region of China. The meeting was facilitated by iCRco's Global Business Development Manager, Jared K. Houk, with instructions from a team of iCRco applications specialists, and technical trainers.
